CYL MEMBER CODE OF CONDUCT

 

These are the core values CYL embraces:

 

ADVOCACY: We serve the public interest by acting as responsible advocates for the CYL community. 

HONESTY: We adhere to the highest standards of accuracy and truth in the way we represent ourselves and communicate.

FAIRNESS: We deal fairly with clients, employers, competitors, peers, vendors, the media, and the general public. We respect all opinions and support the right of free expression.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT AND ADVANCEMENT: We aim to bolster the reputation of the handmade profession by looking for opportunities to celebrate, strengthen and support handmade businesses.

 

As a CYL member you also agree to:

 

  • That I am at least 18 years of age.

  • To respect and support fellow members. 

  • That I give CYL permission to share my business information and personal likeness on the site and for other promotional purposes. I understand that if there are any restrictions to this, I must email hello@cylcommunity.com.

  • That any private information shared amongst members or in discussions will be safeguarded in confidentiality.

  • That all content that comes with my membership will remain private information and not be shared with anyone.

  • That if I do not comply with the CYL code of conduct or behave in a way that is not in alliance with our values my membership can be revoked.

 

TERMS OF MEMBERSHIP:

 

  • Community tier membership
    • All member dues (whether monthly or paying 6-months at a time) are non-refundable.
    • Using the termination form you may put in a request to cancel membership.
    • You are free to cancel your membership at any time  you wish.
      • If you are on a month-to-month plan, your automatic payments will stop within the next 30 days.
      • If you are on the  pre-pay plan, your automatic payments will end before the next billing cycle.
  • Pro tier membership
    • All member dues (whether monthly or paying 6-months at a time) are non-refundable.
    • Using the termination form you may put in a request to cancel membership.
    • You are free to cancel your membership at any time  you wish.
      • If you are on a month-to-month plan, your automatic payments will stop within the next 30 days.
      • If you are on the  pre-pay plan, your automatic payments will end before the next billing cycle.
  • Premium tier membership
    • All member dues (whether monthly or paying 6-months at a time) are non-refundable.
    • Using the termination form you may put in a request to cancel membership.
    • Due to the coaching nature of the Premium tier, there is a 3-month membership cycle. Your cancellation request will go into affect before THE NEXT billing cycle.
